As your body absorbs the poly-L-lactic acid particles, collagen is produced. Gradually, this new collagen will help to rebuild the internal structure of the face.
Each treatment session should be scheduled approximately three to four weeks apart. What is best for you and your needs will be discussed at your consultation when your personalized treatment plan is made. This is also when the number of injections needed during each treatment will be discussed.
There is very little downtime with Sculptra® Aesthetic. Aftercare instructions are quite simple and involve things like facial massage and avoiding direct sunlight for a while. You are free to wear makeup a few hours after your treatment.
